Through the service failure support plan announced today (29th) with the '1015 Damage Support Council', Kakao provides 30,000 won for small business owners whose sales loss is less than 300,000 won, and 50,000 won for more than 300,000 won and less than 500,000 won. stated that it supports



In cases of damage exceeding 500,000 won, additional support will be considered through the review of the consultative body and the damage verification process.



We also operate a separate customer center for damage support.



A total of three types of KakaoTalk emoticons (one permanent, two for 90 days) are provided to general users who report damages.



Emoticons will be paid from the 5th of the following month.



Kakao explained that it contained the meaning of an apology and a promise to provide stable service in the future.



This is the first case in which the platform compensates free users for service failures through autonomous consultation through a private consultative body.
