“The consequence of Western sanctions was a decrease in Russian exports of mineral fertilizers in 2022, according to expert estimates, by 15%,” RIA Novosti quotes the words of the head of the RAPU Andrey Guryev.

Guryev added that back in the summer, the decline in fertilizer exports was estimated at 20%.

According to him, the figure of 15% is now confirmation that Russian producers have begun to recover from sanctions pressure since the summer and find other ways to supply, including increasing the supply of fertilizers to the markets of friendly countries.

It is specified that deliveries have been increased, including to India and Turkey.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin noted that the country has confidently passed 2022.
