China News Service, December 28th. The website of the General Administration of Customs issued the General Administration of Customs Announcement No. 131 of 2022 on the 28th (Announcement on Relevant Matters After Novel Coronavirus Infects Class B and B Controls).

  It is clearly stated that starting from January 8, 2023, nucleic acid testing for all entry personnel will be cancelled, and all entry personnel must declare to the customs the results of the new coronavirus nucleic acid test within 48 hours before entry.

Customs will release entry personnel with normal health declarations and no abnormalities in the routine quarantine at the port to enter the community; for entry personnel with abnormal health declarations or symptoms such as fever, they will be classified and disposed of according to the screening situation.

  The announcement also stated that the relevant provinces (autonomous regions) will promote the orderly and stable resumption of cargo and passenger transport at border ports according to the procedures.

  In addition, from January 8, 2023, measures such as nucleic acid monitoring and testing for new coronaviruses at the port of all imported cold chain foods and non-cold chain items will be cancelled.
