House tenants owned by Mr. Kim, the 'Villa King' who died after buying 1,139 villas and officetels and committing charter fraud, demanded active damage relief measures from the government.

Victims held a press conference in Sejong City today (27th) and said, "After the death of lessor Kim, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport launched a TF team to try to solve the situation, but there is still a long way to go." I couldn't even sign up for the deposit return guarantee insurance."

As a result of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport's tally, 614 (54%) of the tenants of Mr.

Victims who are insured have to go through difficult procedures, such as issuing a registration of subrogation of inheritance, until the claim is made because the lessor has died.

In this case, even if it takes time, there is hope that subrogation can be obtained through HUG, but those who have not subscribed to guarantee insurance must directly rescue the damage through an auction.

In addition, because of Mr. Kim's death, in order to start the auction, all of Mr. Kim's heirs must give up inheritance, and the victims claimed that it takes at least 1 year and 6 months to 2 years for the auction alone.

Each tenant's situation is different.

There are victims who signed a contract with a neighborhood facility where Mr. Kim illegally expanded a commercial facility by deceiving it as a house, and Mr. Kim, who was a registered rental business operator, signed up for the lessor's guarantee insurance as a product that guarantees only a part of the jeonse deposit, not the entire deposit. I'm having other difficulties.

At today's press conference, a landlord who owned a number of houses like Mr. Kim died without returning the deposit, and other tenants who had difficulty returning the deposit also attended and informed the situation of the damage.

Victim A has not been able to get back the jeonse deposit since the death of a landlord in his 40s who owned 240 houses in Seoul and other places in July of last year.

Mr. A said, "I heard the news of the death of the landlord in mid-October of last year when the inheritance renunciation process was completed."

Tenants were also in trouble due to the death of Song Mo (27), who owned dozens of houses through gap investment in Incheon and other places on the 12th.

Victims said, "We learned of an additional case in which the perpetrator of charter fraud, who bought a large number of houses as a gap investment, died." Please help me get out of this situation."

They said, “Each bank has a different attitude toward charter loans, and some are in a position to become credit delinquents due to damages caused by not being able to extend the loan.” “, he urged.
