Earlier, Alexei Zubets, director of the Institute for Socio-Economic Research of the Financial University under the Government of Russia, in an interview with Komsomolskaya Pravda radio, said what would happen to oil prices after the embargo came into force on December 5 and the price ceiling for Russian oil was $60 per barrel.

The Kremlin noted that various options are being discussed to respond to the introduction by the EU and G7 countries of a ceiling on prices for Russian oil.
