Sun Xiao, spokesperson of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and Secretary-General of the China Chamber of International Commerce, said a few days ago that my country's foreign trade enterprises are facing multiple challenges such as weakening external demand, rising costs, and increasing risks. The problem of insufficient orders is particularly prominent. pressure.

　　In order to promote the stable and quality-improving development of my country's foreign trade, multiple regions and departments have made good use of resources from all parties to add points to the results of the "final exam" of foreign trade.

　　Promoting the development of new formats and models of foreign trade

　　Supporting the development of new formats and models of foreign trade has become an important starting point for stabilizing foreign trade.

　　On November 24, the cross-border e-commerce comprehensive pilot zone ushered in the seventh expansion, and 33 cities and regions were approved, which is also the second expansion within this year.

So far, the four provinces of Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Guangdong and Shandong have achieved full coverage of prefecture-level cities.

　　In addition, not long ago, my country also newly established 8 pilot projects of market procurement trade methods, bringing the number of pilot market procurement trade methods to 39.

　　Zhang Yiqun, deputy director of the Performance Management Special Committee of the China Fiscal Society, told a reporter from the Securities Daily that cross-border e-commerce and market procurement trade, as new forms of foreign trade, will not only give full play to the export advantages of various regions, but also enhance my country's overall export capacity by activating resources. .

On the one hand, it effectively reduces tax costs and helps companies improve their competitiveness, consolidate and expand market share; on the other hand, it improves the trade operation mechanism, including simplifying the customs clearance declaration process and shortening the customs clearance process time, which will help to continuously release foreign trade growth kinetic energy.

　　Taking Fujian Province as an example, according to incomplete statistics from the Fujian Provincial Department of Commerce, in the first half of this year, the import and export scale of cross-border e-commerce in Fujian Province increased by more than 10% year-on-year; during the "Double 11" period, the scale of cross-border e-commerce transactions in Fujian Province reached 9.56 billion, a year-on-year increase of 62.7%.

In addition, Fujian Province continues to expand the layout of overseas warehouses and improve the cross-border e-commerce overseas service network.

Up to now, Fujian Province has built more than 100 overseas warehouses in more than 20 countries and regions along the “Belt and Road” in Europe, America, and the total area exceeds 1.8 million square meters.

　　RCEP brings new vitality to foreign trade import and export

　　According to data from the General Administration of Customs, in the first 10 months of this year, ASEAN was my country's largest trading partner. The total trade value between my country and ASEAN was 5.26 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 15.8%, which was 6.3 percentage points higher than the growth rate of my country's foreign trade in the same period; South Korea As my country's fourth largest trading partner, my country's exports to South Korea were 898.63 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 16.3%.

　　Ming Ming, chief economist of CITIC Securities, told the Securities Daily reporter that from the foreign trade import and export data in the first 10 months, it can be seen that the effective implementation of RCEP has provided strong support for trade resilience between my country and ASEAN, Japan and South Korea and other member states.

　　The tariff reduction has enabled enterprises to enjoy the benefits of real money, and the number and amount of RCEP certificates issued by various regions have steadily increased.

According to data released by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade on November 29, in the first 10 months, the total value of RCEP certificate visas was US$5.655 billion, and the number of visas totaled 125,600.

In terms of regional distribution, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Guangdong, Shandong, Sichuan and other provinces rank high.

　　Sun Xiao introduced that at present, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade has completed the first batch of pilot approvals for 15 overseas economic and trade exhibition projects from November 2022 to February 2023, including 13 participating projects and 2 self-organized exhibition projects, distributed in Germany and the United States , the United Arab Emirates and other 8 countries, involving textiles, auto parts, sporting goods, electronics, consumer goods and other fields.

　　Xiao Benhua, deputy director of the Free Trade Zone Research Institute of Shanghai Lixin University of Accounting and Finance, said in an interview with a reporter from the Securities Daily that recently, multiple departments have actively promoted the work of participating in key industries and key exhibitions abroad, which will have a positive impact on my country's foreign trade growth in the fourth quarter. It will play a certain stabilizing role, and more importantly, it will lay the foundation for my country's foreign trade to achieve a "good start" next year.

　　In Zhang Yiqun's view, with the successive introduction of measures to support the high-quality development of foreign trade, the pattern of stability and quality improvement of my country's foreign trade will be further consolidated.
