Flexjet, the provider of luxury private jets, has announced its intention to increase its investments in the UAE, stressing that it sees a very large opportunity and potential in the UAE market.

The company's managing director in Europe, Marin Eugene, said that many ultra-wealthy people are currently in the UAE and are looking for private aviation solutions that suit their requirements.

"The UAE has become a magnet for increasing numbers of individuals, companies and families with the appropriate financial ability to invest in the country, and who wish to travel on their own terms," ​​Ogene told Emirates Today.

She stated that Flexjet considers the Middle East market as one of the important markets for its growth, noting that last year the company doubled its fleet of aircraft to serve the Middle East, Europe and Africa.

Ogen confirmed that the company will add more aircraft during the next year, pointing out that this will be complemented by additional infrastructure over the coming years.

It reported that FlexJet operates regular flights between the Middle East, Europe and the United States.

She explained that after launching the company's fleet of aircraft for Europe in 2019, it worked to expand its services further in the Middle East, by launching its newest private jet, the Gulfstream G650, in Dubai last November, which will transport passengers from the East. Middle towards Europe and the United States and vice versa.

Ogen indicated that the new Gulfstream G650 aircraft will join the fleet of Embraer Praetor 600 aircraft, and is operated by its operating room in Malta as well as through the second operator and its base at Farnborough Airport in the United Kingdom.
