She said this at a joint press conference following a meeting between German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and representatives of international organizations in Berlin.

“About a third of the world economy will be in recession next year,” TASS quoted her as saying.

She also stressed that inflation will persist longer, but will gradually decrease in 2023 and reach 6.5%.

Earlier, Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto called the United States the beneficiary of the recession in Europe.
