Kweichow Moutai (600519.SH) recently applied for a series of classified "i Moutai" trademarks again.

  The Red Star Capital Bureau noticed that according to the Tianyancha APP, China Kweichow Moutai Distillery (Group) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Moutai") once again applied for the registration of a total of 41 "i Moutai" trademarks. The international classification includes advertising sales, beer beverages, etc. , the current status of this batch of trademarks is "pending".

  This is not the first time Maotai has applied for the "i Maotai" trademark.

On March 22 this year, Moutai had already applied for a series of "i Moutai" trademarks including advertising sales, wine and other international classifications, but the previous application process information was changed to "notification of rejection" from the end of October to the beginning of November.

  Red Star Capital Bureau asked Moutai's board secretary's office about the rejection of the trademark in March, and the other party said they did not know the reason for the rejection.

  "i Moutai" is an e-commerce platform that Moutai launched on March 31 this year for trial operation. The full name is "i Moutai Digital Marketing APP". During the trial operation, the sales include 53% 500ml Kweichow Moutai (Renyin Year of the Tiger) and other 4 types products, but so far there is no direct sale of the 500ml 53-degree Feitian Moutai with the highest market attention.

  According to Maotai’s third-quarter financial report, from the beginning of 2022 to the end of the third quarter, the company achieved approximately 8.462 billion yuan in alcohol tax-free income through the “i Maotai” digital marketing platform, which was approximately 4.42 billion yuan in the 2022 semi-annual report.
