Almost every day, the Iranian media report seizures of several hundred weapons from Iraqi Kurdistan.

Moreover, the army of the Revolutionary Guards has considerably reinforced its troops at the border to prevent the smuggling of weapons, but also to control several towns in Kurdistan which have experienced major demonstrations in recent weeks.

The Revolutionary Guards also carried out strikes against the bases of Iranian Kurdish armed groups in Iraqi Kurdistan to prevent any infiltration into Iran.
