“Restrictions in the future can only affect the export of precious metals by individuals, if its volume exceeds the allowable one,” the Finance Ministry explained.
At the same time, the department emphasized that restrictions or freezing of gold purchase and sale transactions are not discussed, neither for individuals nor for legal entities.
Earlier, the Russian government imposed a ban on the export of waste and scrap of precious metals until the end of February 2023.
