The Ministry stated that it had launched, in cooperation with the “Al Ghandi Auto” and “Bin Hamouda Auto” agencies, a campaign to recall cars of the following models: “Cadillac Escalade”, “Cadillac Escalade ESV”, “Chevrolet Suburban” and “Chevrolet Tahoe GMC Yukon”. And the ministry detailed that “in some of these vehicles, the (rivet) that attaches the clamp to the anchor bracket within the left or right seat belt buckle group may not be made appropriately, and therefore it does not play its role in tightening the passengers well in the event of a collision, which increases the risks.” Exposure to injury.

The ministry stated, in a report on the recall, that customers are advised not to use the third row seats until the car is inspected, noting that agents have been notified to consumers who own cars covered by this recall.

The Ministry of Economy, in cooperation with the “Trading Enterprises” and “Al-Futtaim Motors” companies, also recalled five “Dodge” vehicles, manufactured in the United States in 2022, due to the lack of front and rear floor “pedals” on the left side in the accessories bag, what It may cause customer dissatisfaction.

And she confirmed that these “pedals” will be added free of charge without charging the car owner any cost.
