“Those volumes of gas that Gazprom calls remaining in Ukraine are our savings and reserves stored in warehouses in Ukraine,” Spinu said.

According to him, these volumes "were and will be" fully paid by Moldova.

Earlier, Gazprom reported that it had recorded gas settling in Ukraine, intended for supplies under a contract with Moldovagaz. 

The message of the Russian company said that while maintaining the transit imbalance through Ukraine for Moldova, Gazprom from Monday, November 28, may begin to reduce supplies through Ukrainian territory.

Later, the Ukrainian GTS operator rejected claims that part of the gas that Gazprom supplies to Moldova in transit through Ukraine remains on Ukrainian territory.
