Chinanews.com, November 23. BYD Auto's official microblog released an explanation on model price adjustments on the 23rd.

The note pointed out that according to the country's series of policies and plans for the development of new energy vehicles, the subsidy policy for the purchase of new energy vehicles will be terminated on December 31, 2022. After that, the state will no longer provide subsidies for vehicles on the license plate (the current subsidy amount: Plug-in hybrid electric vehicle 4,800 yuan/set, pure electric vehicle 12,600 yuan/set).

At the same time, since the second half of the year, the prices of main raw materials for batteries have risen sharply.

Affected by the above two main factors, BYD Auto will adjust the official guidance prices of new energy vehicles related to Dynasty, Ocean and Denza, and the increase range will range from 2,000 yuan to 6,000 yuan. The price adjustment notice for specific models will be released separately.

The explanation shows that customers who paid a deposit to sign a contract before January 1, 2023 will not be affected by this price adjustment.
