Electronic equipment maker "Wacom" announced that about 150,000 personal information such as customer names and addresses may have been leaked due to unauthorized access to its online shopping site.

Customer information may have been leaked from the online shopping site "Wacom Store" operated by "Wacom", which develops and manufactures tablets for drawing.

According to the company, in August this year, when it was pointed out that the customer's card information may have been leaked from the credit card company, it was found that it was illegally accessed.

There are 147,545 customer names, addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses that may have been leaked, and 1,938 credit card numbers and security codes.

The reason for this is that part of the site's program has been tampered with by someone, so the service is currently being operated using a different system.

Wacom said, ``We take the situation seriously and will take measures to prevent recurrence. We apologize again to our customers and everyone else involved.''
