CCTV News: According to the latest agricultural situation dispatch of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, as of now, 1.27 billion mu of autumn grain has been harvested nationwide, 97.6% completed, and the progress is comparable to the same period last year.
Except for some mid-to-late rice and late-autumn crops in the south, the harvest of other crops has ended.
In the past two days, 14,000 mu of late rice in Minhou County, Fujian Province has ushered in the harvest.
This year, the late rice here encountered drought in the later stages of growth. The local government coordinated with water conservancy, electric power, and land and other departments in a timely manner to open up water sources and divert water for irrigation to ensure a good harvest of late rice.
Not long ago, 40,000 mu of late-maturing waxy corn in Bayannaoer, Inner Mongolia, located in the Hetao area, had a bumper harvest, with an average yield of 1,300-1,500 jin per mu.
