Officials in companies supplying and trading electronic devices confirmed that the market is currently witnessing a remarkable demand for large-size TV screens (65 inches and above), which are enhanced with smart technologies, with sales growth rates ranging between 25 and 30%.

They explained to «Emirates Today» that the demand, which began gradually since the beginning of the fourth quarter of this year, came with the support of consumers, restaurants, cafes and hotels, in preparation for the activities of the FIFA World Cup and the winter tourist season, expecting the continuation of the pace of demand for screens during next period.

He attributed the demand to the preparations of consumers, in addition to restaurants, cafes and hotels, for the expected World Cup events, as it was one of the motivating factors in the screen markets, especially in light of the upgrade of screens, and the purchase of modern models with smart technologies that run various content services applications, in addition to high-definition screens. 8K, expecting continued demand in the coming days, which will boost sales growth during the last quarter of this year.
