Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, known as 'Mr. everything', visits Korea today (17th) and the lodging he is staying at is also attracting attention.

According to the industry, Crown Prince Bin Salman, who arrived at Seoul Airport at around 0:30 today, stayed in an executive suite at Lotte Hotel in Sogong-dong, Seoul.

The attendants were distributed to the Main Tower (Main Building) and Executive Tower (Annex Building).

It is said that Crown Prince bin Salman and his party rented about 400 rooms at this hotel for two weeks before and after their visit to Korea, taking into account the advance party.

The Executive Suite Room where the Crown Prince stayed is 460 square meters and costs 22 million won per night.

It is a place used by state guests such as Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Indonesian President Joko Widodo.

In 2018, Lotte Hotel invested 4.1 billion won in refurbishing the executive suite.

This room features two bedrooms, a drawing room, a powder room, a dressing room, a separate meeting room with video conferencing, a home bar, and a dry sauna.

In the bedroom, Beautyrest Black, the top line of Simmons beds, was placed, and in the living room, a German C. Bechstein grand piano, one of the top three pianos in the world, was placed.

An elevator is provided to take you directly to the 32nd floor, where the Royal Suite is located.

Usually, when a state guest visits, the entire floor is rented out for training or security reasons.

Reservations made through a dedicated sales manager are rare for the general public.

The size of the room was cited as the reason why Crown Prince bin Salman and his entourage chose Lotte Hotel as their accommodation.

Lotte Hotel in Sogong-dong has a total of 1,058 rooms, the largest number among single hotels in Seoul.

In fact, Crown Prince bin Salman's side reportedly asked major luxury hotels in Seoul last month if they could secure more than 250 rooms.

Crown Prince bin Salman will hold a tea meeting with Samsung Electronics Chairman Lee Jae-yong, Hyundai Motor Group Chairman Chung Eui-sun, SK Group Chairman Chey Tae-won, and Hanwha Solutions Vice Chairman Kim Dong-gwan at the Lotte Hotel this afternoon, and will discuss extensive business cooperation plans such as the Neom City project.

When Crown Prince Bin Salman stayed at the hotel, security became more stringent, with screens and security checkpoints installed at the Lotte Hotel.
