A program that provides citizens with the opportunity to work in the "Al-Futtaim Group"

In implementation of the pillars of the Emiratisation strategy in the "Al-Futtaim Group", the "Al-Futtaim Group" launched today, Tuesday morning, the sixth edition of the "Administrative Trainee" program from "Senyar", the group's Emiratisation platform, in the presence of Mrs. Mira Omar Al-Futtaim, Chairwoman of the "Al-Futtaim Emiratisation Council". And officials in the Emiratisation and human resources department of the group, and managers of departments and departments in the group, along with 52 Emirati employees who were employed in the group and selected to participate in the administrative trainee program for the “Senyar” platform, the second of this year 2022 AD.  

This “Management Trainee” program from Senyar provides the opportunity for fresh graduates of Emirati nationals who aspire to work in the “Al-Futtaim Group” to build their career paths with the group, benefiting from a comprehensive and systematic educational program of 18 months, through a special track designed to enhance the performance of the participants and development, enriching communication, problem-solving and teamwork skills. 

Mira Omar Al-Futtaim, Chairperson of the Al-Futtaim Council for Emiratisation, said, “Based on the support and commitment of the Al-Futtaim Group to Emiratisation efforts and plans in the private sector in the UAE, we pay special attention to Emiratisation in the group, as the group’s “Senyar” Emiratisation platform aims to promote Emirati talents. startups, and enabling them to occupy professional and leadership positions in the private sector.

She expressed the aspirations of the Al-Futtaim Group to cooperate with government agencies and private institutions to create an ecosystem that complements and supports the government's Emiratisation plans.  

She added: "We are determined to support young Emirati talents, and provide them with the opportunity for advancement and career development, stressing that Emiratis are distinguished in their performance, are dedicated to performing the job duties entrusted to them, and are very keen to continue learning, training and promotion, and that the "Al-Futtaim Group" provides They have every opportunity to advance and assume important leadership positions in the group.”  

For his part, Ibrahim Al-Sayegh, Head of the Emiratisation Strategy Department at Al-Futtaim Group, said that the "Senyar Emiratisation" platform is one of the group's many mechanisms and initiatives that contribute to supporting the UAE's strategy to localize jobs in the private sector, in line with the ambition of promising Emirati talents. At all levels, as the management trainee program for the Senyar platform includes training the participating citizens over a period of 18 months in 6 phases, including: customer relations, change management, time management, influence, leadership and emotional intelligence, in the various departments of the group.  

Pointing out that the participants will be able to gain new experiences by integrating theoretical knowledge with practical application and skills that have been developed in the work environment.

The management trainee program of the "Senyar" platform will help Emiratis understand their main strengths and ways to develop their leadership and competitive skills through the use of assessment tools, and will provide them with a set of tailored solutions for each employee that will help them excel in their careers by using training and technical initiatives and programs that contribute to developing their capabilities. .
