— Anton Germanovich, the G20 summit has ended in Bali.

The meeting of participants from countries with the most developed and developing economies was held for the 17th time.

Based on its results, the leaders of the G20 states approved the final declaration.

What key topics on the global agenda were discussed on the sidelines of the event?

- At the summit, many issues were discussed that relate directly to the Russian Federation, namely, issues of energy, grain, healthcare - we actively participated (in discussions. - RT ) - and digitalization.

- Back in July, Russia, Ukraine, Turkey and the UN in Istanbul signed a multilateral agreement to facilitate the supply of Russian and Ukrainian agricultural products to world markets.

The grain deal expires on November 19.

At the same time, Moscow has repeatedly stated that part of the terms of the agreement regarding the export of food from Russia is not observed.

In this regard, will our country support calls for an extension of the initiative?

- Indeed, many G20 countries have made proposals to continue the grain deal, since at the moment we see the situation with hunger in a number of countries, especially in the states of the African continent.

Against this background, the flow of grain and food to these countries was one of the topics of discussion.

What did the Russian delegation pay attention to while communicating with their colleagues?

Our Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, during his speech at the summit, said that Russia is in favor of continuing the grain deal.

But we are for the grain supplied under the Black Sea agreements to go to the countries that need supplies, and not to Western countries and European economies, as is happening now.

  • Silulanov - about the grain deal

Therefore, we spoke in favor of continuing this deal under the control of grain dispatch points so that grain would go to countries that really need it.

— You mentioned that the state of affairs in the world energy industry was also actively discussed at the summit.

What topics were covered in this area?

In particular, have you managed to achieve success in the issue of partial lifting of sanctions against Russia in the segment of hydrocarbon exports?

— We talked about the need to control the volume of supplies, and also discussed issues related to energy prices.

For example, various sanctions imposed by the West were touched upon, which hit the initiators of these restrictions the most.

The fact is that any restrictions lead to higher prices.

Accordingly, an increase in prices hinders the growth of the economy and leads to a decrease in the well-being of people.

Therefore (during discussions. -

) we advocated that all barriers that prevent the export of our energy resources to other countries be removed, and today there are enough such barriers.

Such restrictions harm the global economy.

Actually, on the sidelines of the summit, the representatives of the G20 have always considered issues of the global economy and its dynamics.

All this was pointed out by the Russian delegation.

I think the Western countries heard it.

  • Silulanov - on the export of energy resources

- Even before the start of the event, a number of Western representatives expressed their intention to demonstrate to Russia its alleged isolation in the external arena due to the events in Ukraine.

Did you or your colleagues sense a hostile tone and prejudice on the part of some of the summit participants?

- I can say on behalf of our entire delegation: we do not feel any isolation here.

Yes, in the speeches of individual representatives of Western countries, there was a certain tone of restrictions, to the fact that Russia needs to curtail a special military operation, and so on.

Nevertheless, in key issues without the Russian Federation, of course, not a single issue was discussed, since our country is a significant part of the world economy.

And without our country, none of the issues can be resolved.
