Towards a decline in inflation in 2023?

According to Bruno Le Maire, there is currently a drop in wholesale prices which should have an impact "during 2023" on consumer prices and thus allow inflation to ebb.

The next few weeks "will remain difficult", he warned, saying that the state, however, bore 55% of the cost of inflation against 40% for businesses and 5% for households.

He then tackled the mayor of Paris Anne Hidalgo (PS) who decided to increase the property tax by 52% and denounces since the health crisis the absence of financial support from the State to the cities.

"It is the calamitous management of Paris which explains" this increase, declared Bruno Le Maire, castigating the attacks of Anne Hidalgo.
