Since 6 a.m. this Wednesday, SNCF has been selling train tickets for TGV Inoui and Intercités journeys, for the period from January 3 to March 26, 2023. A period that covers all winter holidays for all the areas, specifies BFM TV.

To book a Ouigo trip, users can even go until the beginning of July.

Buying your ticket now allows you to benefit from the best prices.

It will then be possible to change the dates.

The railway company emphasizes that all TGV Inoui and Intercités tickets remain exchangeable and refundable, free of charge, up to three days before departure.

For Ouigo, this change can be made up to an hour and a half before departure.

But you will have to pay 10 euros.

No price increase

Despite inflation and the energy crisis, the SNCF has still not passed on a price increase on the tickets on sale today.

"The tickets put on sale will be at current prices, since work is still in progress on the prices for next year", indicated SNCF Voyageurs, quoted by

Le Parisien

.

The boss of the company, Jean-Pierre Farandou, had, moreover, indicated that the SNCF was affected by the surge in the price of energy with a bill which should increase from 1.6 to 1.7 billion euros in 2023.

If this increase in energy were to be passed on to the price of the ticket, that of the TGV would increase by 10%.

But the SNCF will be attentive to the message launched this Sunday by the Minister of Transport, Clément Beaune.

He asked for the establishment of a "tariff shield" with an increase lower than inflation, and protection for low-income and young households.

Consequently, Ouigo subscriptions should be protected.

The freezing of the prices of Ouigo tickets, the Advantage Card (49 euros) and its ceilings (from 39 to 79 euros depending on the trip) could be recorded.

SNCF would target the increase on lines and times used for business trips.

The reflection on the new price list should be completed at the end of November, according to the Ile-de-France daily.

In the meantime, it is better not to delay to take your tickets.
