This is not really the best that could happen at Strasbourg-Entzheim airport.

According to information from France 3 Grand-Est, the latter will have to prohibit any take-off or landing of regular flights, as well as flying club and business aviation flights, from March 14 to April 14, 2023 in the evening.

The reason ?

The track, which has not been renovated since 2000, needs to be redone.

The airport had no choice.

This cessation of activity represents, told our colleagues the director Renaud Paubelle, a thousand regular flights which will not pass through the airport, i.e. a shortfall of around one million euros.

A lesser evil for the airport which has chosen this time of year when activity is calmer, placed between two school holiday periods and two parliamentary sessions, added the director.

Regular companies using Strasbourg airport will have to choose, during the works, other airports in the sector, probably Basel-Mulhouse and Baden-Baden.
