Trade between Russia and China grew by 33% in 10 months of 2022

This is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the data of the main customs administration of China.

According to customs data, the Chinese side imported goods worth $59.596 billion to Russia during the indicated period, which is 12.8% more than in the same period last year.

At the same time, deliveries from Russia to China increased by 49.9%, amounting to $94.342 billion.

Earlier, the Russian Foreign Ministry noted an increase in the share of national currencies in trade between Moscow and Beijing.

Sergey Lukonin, Head of the Chinese Economics and Politics Sector of the Center for Asia-Pacific Studies of the IMEMO RAS, in an interview with Economics Today spoke about the transition of gas payments from China to yuan and rubles.
