The Innovation Center, affiliated with the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), launched its smart application (MBRSIC) on the Android and iOS platforms, through which it is possible to take a virtual tour to explore the various sections of the center using augmented reality technology.

Relying on Metaverse technology, the Innovation Center within the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park in Dubai provides a unique and innovative experience for its visitors that takes them on a virtual journey in the complex, in addition to innovative displays using drones and hologram technology.

Visitors to the center can also try self-driving electric buses.

Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, Managing Director and CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, said, "The authority is keen to benefit from the latest technologies of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, including artificial intelligence and (Metaverse) technology, to provide innovative solutions that consolidate Dubai's position as one of the most innovative cities on the planet. world level.”

The Innovation Center provides visitors with a unique experience to explore the latest innovations in the field of clean energy technologies, starting with the exhibition area on the first floor, which highlights the path of the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, in addition to the most prominent historical inventions and innovations in the field of electricity and the latest developments in the field of renewable and sustainable energy.

The exhibition area includes 30 interactive displays to familiarize visitors with renewable energy developments, in addition to the Authority's Museum, water desalination plants, a visual area that explains the characteristics of light and solar radiation, and an exhibition of the development of solar energy technologies.
