Emirates Airlines restores 90% of its global network before the pandemic

Emirates Airlines announced yesterday that by resuming its service to Rio de Janeiro and Buenos Aires, which was first launched in 2012, the airline will have restored more than 90% of its global network before the Corona pandemic, which currently covers 130 destinations, including Dubai.

In a statement, Emirates Airlines confirmed that it had re-operated its flights to Rio de Janeiro in Brazil and the Argentine capital, Buenos Aires, which had been suspended since the outbreak of the pandemic.

She explained that the flights will operate weekly from Dubai to Rio de Janeiro, and continue its itinerary to Buenos Aires.

Flight EK 247 departs from Dubai International Airport four times a week at 8:05, and lands in Rio de Janeiro at 3:25 pm.

After a layover of 1 hour and 45 minutes, its flight continues to Argentina at 5:10 pm, arriving in Buenos Aires at 8:40 pm.

As for the return flight, "EK 248", it departs from Ezeiza International Airport in Buenos Aires at 10:20 in the night, and arrives in Rio de Janeiro at 1:10 in the morning, and then leaves at 2:55 in the morning heading to Dubai. It arrives at 11:35 pm.

It is noteworthy that Emirates Airlines operates in South America, too, daily flights between Dubai and Sao Paulo with Airbus A380 aircraft, which feature the air salon for first and business class passengers, and the shower spa in the first class.

The resumption of Emirates Airlines flights to Rio de Janeiro and Buenos Aires will contribute to enhancing trade between Argentina, Brazil and the rest of the world, through Emirates SkyCargo, the carrier's cargo arm.
