Local shares exceed the 3 trillion dirham barrier for the first time in its history

The market capitalization of shares listed in the local capital markets exceeded the barrier of three trillion dirhams at the close of trading yesterday, for the first time in its history, in conjunction with the listing of the shares of “Bayanat” company yesterday on the Abu Dhabi Stock Exchange, as the first company active in the technology sector to be listed in the market Financial following the successful completion of its initial public offering.

The market capital of the listed shares rose from 2.951 trillion dirhams at the end of last Friday's session, to 3.004 trillion dirhams at the end of yesterday's session, distributed by 2.432 trillion dirhams for shares listed on the Abu Dhabi Stock Exchange, and 572.04 billion dirhams for shares listed on the Dubai Financial Market.

The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange consolidated its gains at the end of trading yesterday, and its market capitalization was approximately 57 billion dirhams, supported by the launch of new companies, the latest of which is the data of listed companies and banks about strong profits for the first nine months of this year.

The Abu Dhabi market index rose by 1.16% to close at 10,394.02 points, recording its highest historical levels, with a liquidity of 1.98 billion dirhams.

The performance of the Abu Dhabi market was enhanced by the rise of "Bayanat" shares on the first day of listing, at a rise of 4.10 dirhams, or 273% compared to the offering price, and transactions of more than 75 million shares.

Shares of "TAQA" jumped by 9.6% to 3.20 dirhams, with trading of nearly 54 million shares.

«Burjeel» shares rose by 2.6% to 2.38 dirhams, with trading of nearly 16 shares.

The shares of «Arkan Building Materials» was the most heavily traded stock during yesterday's session, as it increased by the maximum percentage at 1.54 dirhams, with trading close to 108 million shares.

Other shares also rose, including "Bank of Sharjah" 14.47%, "Life Insurance" 14.8%, and "Waha Capital" 11.85%.

Shares of "Union Properties" increased by 0.8% to 0.258 dirhams, with transactions of nearly nine million shares.

Shares of "Dubai Islamic" rose 0.2% to 5.82 dirhams, with transactions of nearly nine million shares, while the shares of "Emirates NBD" and "Salik" closed at their previous price of 13.25 dirhams and 2.29 dirhams, respectively.
