• The seventh edition of the Regional Company Visit Days takes place on Thursday, Friday and Saturday in Pays-de-la-Loire.

  • The event, which appeals more and more to the public, allows the economic world to communicate differently on its work.

They attract more each year.

The seventh edition of the Regional Company Visit Days begins Thursday in the Pays-de-la-Loire region.

For three days until Saturday evening, more than 220 companies will open their doors to curious people of all ages to discover behind the scenes of their activities.

Premises, machinery, production tools, working methods… So many elements usually invisible to customers and the general public.

“We receive families with children, retirees, of all profiles in fact.

What makes the strength of this meeting is the diversity of the sectors of activity offered.

There is something for everyone,” claims the association Visit our businesses in Pays-de-la-Loire, which has been running the event since 2016. The public will thus be able to access major emblematic companies in the region, such as Airbus, EDF, Lactalis or the Chantiers de l'Atlantique, but also discover industrial nuggets, cheese dairies, cellars, printing works, transporters, farms, training centers, craftsmen...

“Need to promote our professions”

More and more of them are playing the game, and companies are also finding their interest in it.

"It's an opportunity to explain how we work, to convey an image to the outside, to change the way we look at the company", explains Jean-François Reynouard, president of the CCI des Pays-de-la- Loire.

These Regional Days are also an opportunity to recall the numerous recruitment needs in recent months, particularly in the industrial field.

"We need to make our jobs known to attract young people, new talents", confirms Christophe Capelle, territory director at Suez, whose Nantes-Cheviré recycling and waste recovery site (Ecopôle) is participating in the operation. and also organizes tours the rest of the year.

Nearly 7,000 visitors are expected for these Regional Days.

Reservation is required online.

Excluding this event, the cumulative company visits throughout the year attracted nearly 500,000 curious people in Pays-de-la-Loire before the health crisis.
