Gold consolidates its gains and gains $20 in spot transactions

Global gold prices rose during today's trading, to gain more than $20 in spot transactions.



According to global market data, the prices of the yellow metal in spot transactions increased by 1.21%, or the equivalent of $20.04, to reach $1,673.46 per ounce, by 12:07 pm UAE time.



While gold futures contracts for December delivery increased by 1.18%, equivalent to $19.45, to reach $1677.5 per ounce.



In terms of other precious metals, silver rose 1.94% to $19.72 an ounce, palladium rose 2.57% to $67.78, and platinum rose 1.77% to $936.
