The old taxi depot in Magok-dong, Gangseo-gu, Seoul.

Soon, public housing for young people will be built here.

A new public housing number 210 is scheduled to be built in the first half of next year on this vacant lot with bushes scattered here and there.

With 360,000 units in the metropolitan area and 140,000 units in the non-metropolitan area, a total of 500,000 public housing units will be sold within 5 years.

Of the total 500,000 households, 2/3, or 340,000, go to the youth, and 160,000 to 4,050 homeless people.

There is a new system this time, first of all, there is a special sale for unmarried, that is, young people who are not married, and in order to reduce the disadvantages of young people with low subscription scores, we decided to put the small size into the lottery system again up to 60%.

Another thing that stands out this time is that half of the 500,000 houses, that is, 250,000 houses, will be sold cheaply at 70% or less of the surrounding market price.

It also allows you to pay almost the majority of your home price in long-term mortgages.

For example, if the price of a nearby house is 500 million won, 70% is applied and the pre-sale price is 350 million won.

And up to 80% of them are loaned at a maturity of 40 years and interest at 3% per annum.

In this way, if I only have 70 million won, I can buy a 500 million won house right away.

Within this year, 3,000 units in the metropolitan area such as Godeok-dong, Seoul and Goyang, Gyeonggi-do will be pre-ordered in this way.

In addition, there are about 100,000 houses that pay monthly rent for 6 years and decide whether to buy or not after living there.

The government is also reviewing ways to give preferential treatment to military veterans at the time of subscription.
