In the occupied West Bank, six Palestinians were killed in Israeli army raids overnight from Monday to Tuesday.

Jewish state forces primarily targeted the city of Nablus.

This is where a new Palestinian armed group has been operating for several months, called "Areen Al Oussoud", the "lions' den" in French.

Fighters have stepped up attacks on Israeli occupation army positions in recent weeks.

In the process, the army tightened the noose on Nablus, stronghold of these Palestinian fighters.

Clashes now take the form of urban guerrilla warfare.

The Palestinian group "Areen Al Oussoud" has a rear base in the old town of Nablus.

A kasbah with narrow streets, difficult to access, where Israeli troops nevertheless attempt lightning incursions.

During the night of Monday to Tuesday, the occupying forces launched a raid.

Exchanges of fire are heard.

Explosions ring out in the center of Nablus.

The whole thing is documented in videos posted online.

Communication on social networks

Because one of the strengths of this shadow group is its communication on social networks.

Very quickly, a call is launched and young Palestinians invade the old town of Nablus.

The objective is to support “Areen Al Oussoud” and stop the operation of the Israeli army.

"Areen Al Oussoud", very popular with young people, sets itself up as a defender of the Palestinian cause.

In its ranks, it includes both members of traditional Palestinian armed factions and completely disaffiliated fighters.

Their motto is "

to put an end to the occupation through combat

 ".

A change in method that seems to destabilize the Israeli army.

Unaccustomed to negotiating with Palestinian armed groups, officials of the Jewish state have, according to Israeli media, offered an amnesty to the fighters of "Areen Al Oussoud", if they agree to lay down their arms.

But the offer was rejected.
