Gold prices win two dollars in spot transactions

Global gold prices rose during today's trading, gaining more than two dollars in spot transactions.

According to global market data, the prices of the yellow metal increased in spot transactions by 0.16%, or the equivalent of $2.56, to reach $1651.99 per ounce, by "08:07 AM UAE time".

While gold futures contracts for December delivery increased by 0.11%, equivalent to $1.85, to reach $1655.95 per ounce.

In terms of other precious metals, silver rose 0.41% to $19.26 an ounce, palladium rose 0.94% to $1985.5, while platinum fell 0.06% to $928.3.
