) has reported the withdrawal of a batch of
fresh mozzarella
(pasta filata cheese) of the
Bocconcini
de
Albe
brand due to the presence of staphylococcal toxin.
Specifically, the affected batch,

, has
an expiration date of October 29
, with a unit weight of 250 g (net weight) and 150 g (drained weight).
At the moment, there is no record in Spain of any reported case associated with this alert.
According to information from the
AESAN
, the product has been distributed in the autonomous communities of
Andalusia
,
Asturias
, the
Balearic
Islands , the
Canary Islands
,
Catalonia
,
Cantabria
,
Castilla y León
,
Galicia
and
the Valencian Community
, although other redistributions are not ruled out.
This information has been transferred to the competent authorities of the autonomous communities through
the Coordinated System for the Rapid Exchange of Information
(
SCIRI
) and to the
Services of the European Commission
through the
European Food Alert Network
(
RASFF
), in order to that the withdrawal of the affected products from the marketing channels be verified.
Consumption advises recommends going to a health center if you have consumed this type of product from the affected batch and present any symptoms such as
nausea

diarrhea

abdominal pain
or
prostration
.
Likewise, it recommends that people who have products affected by this alert at home refrain from consuming them and return them to the point of purchase.
