In order to promote the digitization of operations and improve productivity, Chiba Prefecture has signed an agreement with a major IT company and has decided to work on training digital human resources.

On the 25th, at the Chiba Prefectural Office, Governor Kumagai and Managing Director Ryota Sato of Microsoft Japan signed an agreement to promote the digitization of operations.

In this, Governor Kumagai said, "Digitalization is essential for improving organizational productivity and ease of work."

Under the agreement, training will be provided to prefectural executives and managers to deepen their understanding of digitization, which will lead to work style reforms such as telework, and a system where staff can consult with companies regarding the digitization of operations. In addition to building ICT, prefectural schools will provide support to make more use of ICT (information and communication technology).

Chiba Prefecture will soon implement training for executives and managers.

Shinji Nomizo, Director of the Prefectural Digital Reform Promotion Bureau, said, "By promoting digitalization from the government, such as improving operational efficiency and developing human resources, I hope that the momentum for digitalization will increase throughout the prefecture." .
