The Central Council of Jews in Germany is demanding that the sporting goods manufacturer Adidas immediately terminate its business relationship with Kanye West because of the US musician's repeated anti-Semitic statements.

"The rapper's daily new anti-Semitic derailments are unbearable for the Jews in Germany and all over the world," said the President of the Central Council, Josef Schuster, to the editorial network Germany (RND, Tuesday).

That's why Adidas must "immediately stop working with Kanye West."

Schuster demanded "a clear stance when it comes to anti-Semitism" from Adidas "as a German company".

Entrepreneurial interests should not be in the foreground.

The President of the Central Council also referred to other companies that had parted ways with the 45-year-old rapper.

On the other hand, the sporting goods manufacturer has only promised one test so far.

West is quoted as saying, "I can say anti-Semitic things and Adidas can't let me down." In a video, the rapper "spoke repeatedly about the supposed power of the 'Jewish media'," it said.

The rapper had recently repeatedly caused a stir and outrage with provocative actions.

Several posts published on social networks have been classified as anti-Semitic.
