Ahmed bin Saeed: We have passed the most difficult year in the history of Emirates Airlines... and we expect to return to profitability during the current financial year
His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and CEO of Emirates Airlines, and the group, said that the last fiscal year 2021/2022 was the year of recovery for Emirates Airlines, after we passed the most difficult year in the history of our carrier.
He pointed out that it is not only about restoring our capabilities, but also about increasing our future capabilities during the reconstruction.
His Highness added: Our goal is to build better and stronger, so that we can provide better experiences for our customers and more support for the communities we serve.
Despite adverse global developments, we continue to perform well and expect a return to profitability in the current financial year.
His Highness stated that the Emirates Group will announce in the next few days its semi-annual financial results.
