His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and CEO of Emirates Airlines, and the group, said that during the fiscal year 2021/2022, the Emirates Group invested 7.9 billion dirhams in new aircraft, facilities, and the latest technologies to prepare businesses for recovery and future growth.

His Highness added: The carrier has also moved forward with its environmental strategy that focuses on reducing carbon emissions, consuming resources responsibly, and preserving wildlife and habitats.

The group has supported community, humanitarian and charitable initiatives in its various markets, in addition to innovation incubators and other programs that nurture talent, innovation and future solutions for industry growth.
