Ahmed bin Saeed: The company will receive the first Boeing 777X in 2025

His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Supreme Chairman and CEO of Emirates Airlines, and the group, said that our announced orders of aircraft with both Airbus and Boeing are still the same, and we are in constant contact with the two manufacturers about all developments and delivery dates.

His Highness added: We are currently working on bringing all of our A380s back into service.

We are also implementing a program to modernize 120 Boeing and Airbus aircraft, including the installation of the Premium Economy Class cabin and improvements to other cabins under an investment of more than 8 billion dirhams in a massive program that includes wider meal options, a new vegetarian menu and an “in-flight cinema” experience.

His Highness stated that the carrier will receive the first Airbus A350 aircraft in the last quarter of 2024, while the Boeing 777X aircraft will hopefully be received in 2025.
