The average price per new condominium unit launched in the Tokyo metropolitan area in September was 66.53 million yen, up 1% from the same month in 2021.

It is the first time in three months that the price has increased.

In September, the research company "Real Estate Economic Research Institute" tabulated newly built condominiums sold in the three prefectures of Tokyo, Kanagawa, Saitama, and Chiba.

▽The average price in the 23 wards of Tokyo increased by 1.8% from the same month in 2021 to 87.58 million yen, raising the overall price.

▽Kanagawa increased by 4.8% to 53.78 million yen,

▽Saitama increased by 6.5% to 52.54 million yen.

The launch of new properties in highly convenient areas, such as central cities and near terminal stations, has led to an increase in average prices.

On the other hand,

▽ Chiba prefecture was 41.69 million yen, 3.0% lower than the same month in 2021.

Sales of large-scale properties are scheduled to begin in the city center after this fall, and research companies expect the average price of condominiums to continue to be at a high level.
