Gold gains exceed $8 in spot transactions

Global gold prices rose during today's trading, gaining more than $8.



According to global market data, the prices of the yellow metal in spot transactions increased by 0.52%, or the equivalent of $8.6, to reach $1637.82 per ounce, by “03:35 am UAE time.”



While the gold futures contract for December delivery decreased by 0.49%, equivalent to $8.05, to reach $1643.85 per ounce.



In terms of other precious metals, silver rose by 1.87% to $18.7 an ounce, while platinum rose by 1.37% to $893.4, and palladium increased by about 1.2% to $ 2019.5.
