The tycoon Elon Musk has plans to get rid of 75% of the staff that works on Twitter until leaving it in only 2,000 people, according to The Washington Post published this Thursday, which claims to have obtained documents on the latest conversations between the billionaire and the eventual investors who will help you close the purchase of the social network.

The newspaper also assures that, even if the purchase is not formalized, the company is going to undertake large cuts in personnel that would reach approximately a quarter of the 7,500 workers.
