Bloomberg reported that the second richest man in India had strengthened his real estate empire in Dubai, by purchasing another beachside villa on the "Palm Jumeirah", breaking his previous record for the most expensive residential real estate deal in the city within months.

And Mukesh Ambani bought a villa in the "Palm Jumeirah", last week, with about 163 million dollars (600 million dirhams) from the family of Kuwaiti businessman, Mohammed Al-Shaya.

In August, Indian billionaire Mukesh Ambani's company, Reliance Industries, bought an $80 million (Dh302 million) beachfront villa in Dubai, the city's largest residential real estate deal ever.

The company bought the property on Palm Jumeirah earlier this year for Ambani's younger son, Anant.

This is the most historic deal ever in Dubai, in terms of value.

The Alshaya Group owns the local franchises of retail brands including (Starbucks, H&M and Victoria's Secret).

Ambani is the chairman of Reliance Industries Ltd., the largest Indian company by market value, with a net worth of $84 billion.
