In order to consolidate the effectiveness of governance and create a good environment for jointly safeguarding the rights and interests of consumers, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology recently launched a "look back" to rectify the infringement of users' rights and interests by APPs, and organized third-party testing agencies to conduct key sampling tests on issues such as illegally pushing pop-up information and APP's excessive request for permissions. A total of 38 apps were found to have problems.

These include Yingke Live, Dr. Lilac, Meiyou, etc.

  The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology stated that the above-mentioned APP should complete the rectification before October 20. If the rectification is not made within the time limit or the rectification is not in place, it will be dealt with in accordance with laws and regulations.
