Gold prices rise globally by more than $3

Global gold prices rose during today's trading, to gain more than 3 dollars in spot transactions.



According to global market data, the prices of the yellow metal in spot transactions increased by 0.21%, or $3.61, to reach $1,669.86 per ounce, by 09:48 am UAE time.



While gold futures contracts for December delivery fell by 0.09%, equivalent to $1.45, to reach $1675.5 an ounce.



In terms of other precious metals, silver rose 0.58% to $19.02 an ounce, while platinum rose 0.85% to $906.5, and palladium increased by 1.16% to $2137.02.
