At 12:18 on October 11, the D2323 bullet train from Longyan to Guangzhou officially opened, ending the history of non-motorized trains from Longyan to Guangzhou, marking the phased results of the cooperation between Longyan and Guangzhou.

In an interview with a reporter from Chinanews.com on the 13th, a relevant person said that the opening of the direct train from Longyan to Guangzhou is of great significance to facilitate public travel and promote the integration of the economy, industry, and cultural tourism between the two places.

Longyan and Guangdong are geographically adjacent to each other, and they have a close relationship with each other.

It is understood that in the past, passengers from the city to Guangzhou by railway had to take ordinary-speed trains or transfer to Zhangzhou Station, Shenzhen North Station and other places via the Xiamen-Shenzhen Railway, which was inconvenient to travel.

According to the relevant person in charge of the Longyan Railway Construction and Development Center, Longyan City will work with Guangzhou City to strengthen communication and connection with China Railway Nanchang Bureau Group and Guangzhou Bureau Group, and actively plan to start the Longyan-Guangzhou bullet train, which will eventually facilitate the smooth running of the Longyan-Guangzhou bullet train.
