Since the founding of the People's Republic of China, central SOEs have developed rapidly, their scale has continued to expand, and their vitality has been continuously enhanced. During the "13th Five-Year Plan" period, central SOEs created material wealth that accounted for about one-eighth of the country's GDP, and contributed about one-fourth of the national total. Tax revenue is an important pillar of our national economy.
