Sunday, October 9, new demonstrations took place in Tehran and in the provinces.
High school girls took off their headscarves while shouting slogans against power, according to videos posted on social networks.
Demonstrations also took place in several universities in the capital and in the provinces.
But these new demonstrations were without comparison with those which had taken place during the
day on Saturday
, marked by numerous demonstrations in several districts of Tehran and provincial cities.
The demonstrations are increasingly harsh, with slogans against the Supreme Guide and President Raisi.
It is the Islamic Republic that is targeted.
"
We don't want an Islamic Republic,
" protesters said.
While many demonstrators have been released, the police have warned that now anyone arrested will remain in prison until their trial and will be severely punished.
On Saturday evening, the live news channel was
hacked
for about ten seconds with a call for Iranians to take to the streets to overthrow Islamic power.
This is not the first time that Iranian television has been hacked in this way.
In the past, the image of the leaders of the People's Mujahideen, the main armed opposition group, appeared on the screen for a few seconds.
