He added that in the near future the country will become the largest seller of liquefied natural gas (LNG) in the world.

“12-15 million tons of Qatari natural gas will steadily flow to Europe if the situation continues in its current form,” RIA Novosti quoted al-Kaabi as saying at the Energy intelligence forum in London.

Earlier, German Economy Minister Robert Habeck said that German Chancellor Olaf Scholz could soon agree on gas supplies from the UAE and Qatar.
