The Nenjiang River originating from the branch of the Daxing'an Mountains flows eastward through Zhenlai County, Jilin Province, and joins the Songhua River, forming numerous river bays.
Ge Jun from Anhui picked one place to start crab farming, and in the past three years, hundreds of local farmers have become rich from crabs.
During the National Day, Ge Jun and the local crab farmers shipped thousands of catties every day and were very busy.
Guests who travel from south to north come here to take advantage of the holidays.

My water surface is more than 23,400 mu in total. In total, we put 100,000 catties of crab seedlings this year. So far this year, we have recovered 420,000 catties, and we expect to catch about 500,000 catties.
[Explanation] Three years ago, Ge Jun came to Zhenlai for inspection. The large amount of idle water in the area gave him the idea of raising crabs.
After investigation and site selection, Ge Jun invested 100,000 crab seedlings in Nenjiang, hired technicians from the north with high salary, and participated in the whole process from crab seedling cultivation to operation and promotion.
The story of raising crabs spread like wildfire, and it also drove the enthusiasm of the villagers to raise crabs, and the bubble ponds that no one cared about in the past became very popular.
In recent years, with the improvement of residents' living and consumption levels, crabs have gradually become "regulars" on the dining table, and crab consumption is particularly hot on this National Day.
With the sharp increase of crab farmers, Zhenlai County established Jiheimeng Aquatic Products Trading Market, which is operated and managed by Ge Jun.
By bringing together crab resources in Jilin, Heilongjiang and Inner Mongolia, farmers have more market say.

After the farmers in Jiheimeng finished raising crabs, they came to our trading market to sell them. In addition, through this trading market, after I integrated the entire resources of all farmers, the whole crab seedlings must be purchased from our town, and the whole process is connected. In addition, it attracts merchants from all over the country to our Zhenlai, and sells the hairy crabs around Zhenlai to all parts of the country, which plays a very central role.
[Explanation] Ge Jun said that there are 1.55 million mu of rice fields irrigated by Nenjiang water to cultivate crab seedlings. In the future, it will also plan to establish a deep processing workshop for aquatic products. The crabs raised by the Nenjiang water will be processed into drunk crabs, spicy crabs Crabs, etc. are sold all over the country.
Ge Jun revealed that in addition to getting rich, crabs have other magical uses.
Zhenlai County has a large area of saline-alkali land, and Ge Jun is planning to improve the saline-alkali land into arable land by breeding crabs.

Because I and the Chinese Academy of Sciences have worked together to create a new path for saline-alkali land improvement that is easy to operate, replicate, and popularize, we just want to turn more saline-alkali land in Zhenlai into the grain bag of our government and the money bag of the people.
