As the current peak-shaving flow battery energy storage power station with the largest power and largest capacity in the world, it is the first national-level large-scale power station with technical support provided by Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences) and designed, manufactured, constructed and operated by related enterprises in Dalian. The chemical energy storage demonstration project, the 100-megawatt Dalian flow battery energy storage peak-shaving power station, has recently entered the final stage of grid-connected debugging and is expected to be officially put into use in mid-October.

  It is understood that the total investment of Dalian flow battery energy storage peak shaving power station is about 3.8 billion yuan, and the total construction scale is 200 MW/800 MWh. The first phase of the power station will be put into use, with a scale of 100 MW. /400MWh, that is, the rated power of the power station is 100,000 kWh/hour, and a maximum of 400,000 kWh can be stored.

Based on the daily per capita electricity consumption of 200,000 residents in China, it can meet the daily electricity demand of 200,000 residents, thereby alleviating the peak load regulation pressure of the local power grid and improving the reliability of power supply.

  After the power station is put into use, it will increase the grid connection rate of renewable energy, balance the stability of the power grid and improve the reliability of the power grid.
